Edition 2025 — Celestial Lights
The 2024-2025 edition of the Festival of Celestial Lights at the Château de Selles-sur-Cher celebrates the Extraordinary Voyages of Jules Verne. From October 19, 2024, to January 5, 2025, visitors discover monumental light sculptures depicting The Mysterious Island, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas, From the Earth to the Moon, and Around the World in Eighty Days.
2024-2025 Edition: The Extraordinary Voyages of Jules Verne
The Festival of Celestial Lights returns to the Château de Selles-sur-Cher from October 19, 2024, to January 5, 2025, with a theme dedicated to the Extraordinary Voyages of Jules Verne. The light trail invites visitors to dive into the fantastical worlds of the famous novelist:
- The Mysterious Island: a wild world populated by exotic creatures
- Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas: illuminated abysses and Captain Nemo's Nautilus
- From the Earth to the Moon: a space journey in giant sculptures
- Around the World in Eighty Days: the stages of Phileas Fogg's journey
Live shows—mask changing, acrobats, martial arts—punctuate the evening. Pop-up restaurant on site.
