34th Festival of Cheeses and Rocamadour AOP
The 34th edition of the Festival of Cheeses and Rocamadour AOP was held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Bois de Belveyre Stadium in Rocamadour, from 10 am to 6 pm. This festive day brought together farmhouse producers, farmers, and goat cheese lovers in a friendly and authentic atmosphere in the heart of the Rocamadour AOP terroir.
The market hosted producers of AOP farmhouse cheeses from several regions of France, along with regional wine tastings and musical entertainment. The Rocamadour AOP workshop allowed visitors to discover the sector, the professions, and the cheese-making techniques through molding demonstrations.
A highlight of the day, the Rando-Biquette saw the goat herd arrive at Bois de Belveyre from the Ferme la Borie d'Imbert between 12 pm and 12:30 pm. Sheepdog demonstrations completed the pastoral program. The rustic lunch offered grilled Quercy Label Rouge farmhouse lamb, aligot, Rocamadour AOP, walnut cake, and a glass of wine for €15.

- 12 pm – 2:30 pm: Rustic lunch: Quercy Label Rouge farmhouse lamb, aligot, Rocamadour AOP, walnut cake
- 2 pm: Sheepdog demonstrations (tracking, obedience, protection)
