Festival of Plants and Nature

2025 Edition — Sunday, May 4

The Festival of Plants and Nature 2025 took over the Place des Platanes in Marcilhac-sur-Célé for a day full of discoveries and conviviality, from 10 am to 7 pm.

Market and Exchanges

The market brought together local producers, nurserymen, artisans, and exchange tables for seeds, cuttings, and plants. Visitors could buy, trade, or simply share their gardening knowledge in a warm atmosphere.

Nature Bike Rides

Three bike rides were offered to discover the Célé valley from different perspectives:

• 9 am - 10:30 am: Vel'ornitho — ornithological bike ride (ages 8+)
• 10:30 am - 12 pm: Vélo Bota — botanical bike ride (ages 8+)
• 2:30 pm: Vélo Géo — geological bike ride

Activities and Shows

• 12 pm: Aperitif concert with traditional music
• 2 pm: Plant distillation demonstration
• 3:30 pm: Show 'Étonnant jardin' (ages 5+)
• 5 pm: Nature parade
• 5:30 pm: Djembe initiation
• 6:30 pm: Concert 'La galère s'amuse'

Children's workshops, exhibitions, and games animated the day continuously. Refreshments and food available on-site.
