Edition 2023 — Festival of Rhododendrons
The 2023 edition of the Festival of Rhododendrons took place from May 26th to 28th under the theme “Under the Tropics”. The castle park was adorned with tropical colors with Caribbean and Tahitian dance shows, concerts, a sandcastle competition, creative workshops, and a grand finale with a laser show by the castle moats.

Festival of Rhododendrons 2023 — Under the Tropics
For this edition filled with tropical colors, the Festival of Rhododendrons transported visitors to exotic latitudes from May 26th to 28th, 2023. The Châteauneuf-sur-Loire castle park came alive for three days with a vibrant program.
Highlights
- Friday, May 26th: opening evening with the choir La Galiote and DJ Francky, 80s to today's vibe
- Saturday, May 27th: Caribbean music shows, school concerts, dance initiations, festive evening with the Serge Tamas Caraïbes Quatuor and Alkabaya
- Sunday, May 28th: Tahitian dance shows, acoustic concerts, and a spectacular closing with a laser show at 11:00 PM near the castle moats
Throughout the weekend, a funfair, artisan stalls, children's workshops, guided tours, and on-site catering completed the program.
