2026 edition cancelled

The 49th edition of the Festival de la Moisson et des Vieux Métiers, which was set to take place on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, in Beaulieu-sur-Oudon, has been cancelled. The organizing committee made this decision in late July 2026 due to drought and fire risks. As the festival takes place around the village near residential areas, the organizers did not want to compromise the safety of participants and animals.

This marks the first cancellation in the nearly fifty-year history of this heritage festival, which was established in 1976. The committee invites the public to join them on Sunday, August 1st, 2027, for the 50th edition, which will conclude with a concert—a new feature announced to celebrate this milestone.
