Edition 2025 — Paroles & Musiques
The 34th edition of the Festival Paroles & Musiques took place from May 19 to 24, 2025, in Saint-Étienne. Nearly 40 artists took over the stages of La Comète, Le Fil, L'Usine, and the Zénith, mixing headliners and emerging discoveries, true to the festival's philosophy since its creation in 1992.

34th edition - May 19 to 24, 2025
The Festival Paroles & Musiques celebrated its 34th edition from May 19 to 24, 2025, presenting a rich program of around forty artists across Saint-Étienne's venues. Six days of concerts enlivened the city, from the intimate evenings at La Comète to the grand stages of the Zénith.
Evenings at La Comète
From Monday to Thursday, La Comète hosted artists from the francophone scene in a warm and intimate atmosphere:
- Monday, May 19: Jeanne Cherhal + opening act
- Tuesday, May 20: Pierre Lapointe + Victor Solf
- Wednesday, May 21: Sylvain Duthu + Clou
- Thursday, May 22: Sam Sauvage + opening act
Le Fil - Friday, May 23
The Friday evening took place at Le Fil with Bagarre, Thea, and DeserTGirlZ for an electric night mixing pop, electro, and live energy.
Le Zénith - Closing Weekend
The two final evenings at the Zénith de Saint-Étienne brought together the headliners of this edition:
- Friday, May 23: Hoshi, Jérémy Frérot, and Emma Peters – a night of pop and French chanson in front of several thousand spectators
- Saturday, May 24: Les Ogres de Barback & La Rue Kétanou – a festive and generous finale to close this 34th edition
As every year, Paroles de Zinc animated the bars and cafes of the city center with free concerts throughout the week, allowing the discovery of new talents in a friendly atmosphere.
