Edition 2025 — Têtes en l'air
The 2nd edition of the Festival Têtes en l'air takes place from March 21 to 23, 2025 in Dax. Program: 30 giants, 6 big heads, 100 stilt walkers, 60 musicians, and 32 street artists. Carnival parade, street arts performances, and participatory construction of a giant head in peloid, Dax's thermal mud.
Festival Têtes en l'air 2025 — 2nd edition
The 2nd edition of the Festival Têtes en l'air takes place from March 21 to 23, 2025 in the center of Dax. This edition brings together 30 giants, 6 big heads, 100 stilt walkers, 60 musicians, and 32 street artists from Belgium, Hauts-de-France, and Spain.
Program
- Friday, March 21, 7:30 PM: opening show with presentation of the giants on the parvis of the Hôtel de Ville
- Saturday, March 22, 4:30 PM: grand carnival parade through the streets of the city center
- Saturday, March 22, 6 PM: show of the 100 stilt walkers at the Carreau des Halles
- Sunday, March 23: restitution of masks and street arts performances
The visual artist Fred Martin and the company Lez'arts Vers are organizing the construction of a 6-meter giant head made of peloid, Dax's famous thermal mud.
