Truculent Festival – Inaugural Edition 2025

The very first edition of the Truculent Festival took place from August 22 to 24, 2025, in the park of the Château de la Forêterie in Allonnes. This historic site, burned down by the Nazis in 1944 and undergoing restoration since 2015, offered an enchanting setting for three days of live performance and open-air music.

On the program: fourteen theater performances (classic adaptations, puppets, contemporary creations) and four concerts (disco cabaret, DJ sets, popular dances, piano-voice). Stages were set up in the clearings, the castle ruins, and even in the heart of the forest, for immersive poetic walks. The village festival spirit, with its hay bales, garlands, and long tables, won over an enthusiastic audience.
