Edition 2025 — Fête de la Châtaigne
39th edition of the Fête de la Châtaigne d'Éguzon. Four days of festivities with 1,500 kg of grilled chestnuts, a market with 80 exhibitors, a hiking show, hikes around Lake Éguzon, concerts, traditional meals, and the Boissellerie des bricoleurs.
39th Fête de la Châtaigne: Autumn Celebrated in Éguzon
From October 30th to November 2nd, 2025, the 39th edition of the Fête de la Châtaigne took over the streets of Éguzon-Chantôme. The Boissellerie des bricoleurs kicked off the festivities on Friday, October 31st, followed by two major days of market and entertainment on November 1st and 2nd. Three days of hiking around Lake Éguzon attracted some 3,000 walkers. The 260 volunteers grilled 1.5 tons of chestnuts and pressed 20 tons of apples into sweet cider for the 20,000 visitors. The country dinner on Thursday and the Castagnaires dinner on Saturday were fully booked.
