50th Fête de la Choucroute - 2025 Anniversary Edition
The 50th edition of the Fête de la Choucroute was held from September 27 to October 11, 2025 in Krautergersheim, marking half a century of celebrating sauerkraut cabbage. For this exceptional anniversary, an additional evening on October 11 was added to the traditional dates of September 27, 28, and October 4.
Under the marquee at Place des Fêtes, guests enjoyed the traditional sauerkraut platters to the sound of the Alsatian orchestra, between waltzes and polkas. On Sunday afternoon, the grand parade of decorated floats paraded through the village streets, accompanied by folk groups and cabbage-cutting demonstrations.
