On August 15, 2025, the port of l'Herbaudière vibrated to the rhythm of the Fête de la Mer. Under a summer sky, the procession of the Virgin, carried by sailors in traditional attire, wound through the quays, followed by a dense crowd of islanders and vacationers. The blessing of the bedecked boats was a moment of shared reflection before the sardine grills and conviviality took over. The fireworks launched from the sea dazzled several thousand spectators gathered on the port's jetties under the starry night of August 15th.
