Fête de la Musique d'Albi 2025 — June 21st in the UNESCO City
On June 21st, 2025, the city of Albi celebrated the Fête de la Musique with musical effervescence that filled the streets, squares, and bars of the episcopal city. From late afternoon, the first concerts echoed through the medieval alleys of the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Place du Vigan hosted a large stage with local and regional artists in various genres. The Place Sainte-Cécile, bathed in the light of the red brick cathedral, offered a majestic setting for classical and choral ensembles. In the alleys of the old town, dozens of musicians, both amateur and professional, enlivened the small squares and terraces until the heart of the night.
Rock, jazz, blues, French chanson, flamenco, world music, electronic, rap, and classical music followed one another in a joyful festive cacophony, making this solstice night a plural and inclusive celebration of all music. Free entry for all concerts, in the tradition of the National Music Day.
