The 2025 Fête de la Musique in Sens was held on Saturday, June 21st, 2025. The streets of the historic center of Sens, from Saint-Étienne Cathedral to Rue de la République, echoed with free concerts of all genres. The Conservatoire du Grand Sénonais, local bands, choirs, and professional artists animated the solstice night for thousands of strollers.

Fête de la Musique 2025 in Sens — The Cathedral to the Rhythm of the Solstice
On June 21st, 2025, the city of Sens celebrated the summer solstice with music. From 6 PM, Rue de la République and the squares of the historic center were closed to traffic to make way for musicians. Dozens of ensembles performed on improvised stages and in participating bars.
The Conservatoire du Grand Sénonais mobilized its students for several performances in public and heritage spaces of the city. Rock and pop bands, jazz ensembles, choirs, and world music groups offered strollers a rich and free musical evening. The activities of the association Obsidienne included exhibitions, workshops, and musical welcome in the Salle de la Poterne, complementing the city's program.
