Edition 2025 — Transhumance des Vosgiennes
The 2025 edition of the Fête de la Transhumance saw the herd of Vosgienne cows from the Au Petit Gravier farm ascend to the high-altitude pastures of Les Prenzières, accompanied by hundreds of walkers, to the sound of Alpine horns and accordion music. The traditional 'repas marcaire', which was fully booked long before the event, demonstrated the growing enthusiasm for this tradition inscribed in UNESCO's Intangible Heritage.
