28th edition of the Fête du Couteau de Nontron. About a hundred cutlers and artisans from France and around the world took over the town center of Nontron for two days of demonstrations, workshops, and sales of exceptional knives.

28th Fête du Couteau
The 28th edition of the Fête du Couteau took place on August 3rd and 4th, 2024 in Nontron. Approximately one hundred cutlers and artisans presented their creations, from traditional knives to contemporary art pieces. Visitors could witness demonstrations of forging, iron making in a bloomery furnace, engraving, and scrimshaw.
The family workshops allowed visitors to try their hand at assembling a Nontron knife, making a leather sheath, and creating an aperitif board. The knife and axe throwing demonstrations with world champion Pascal Boucreux once again captivated the audience.
