29th Fête du Couteau
The 29th edition of the Fête du Couteau took place on August 2nd and 3rd, 2025 in Nontron. True to its tradition, the exhibition brought together about a hundred exhibitors—cutlers, artisans, creators, and resellers—from France and beyond to showcase their creations.
The weekend was marked by live forging demonstrations, engraving, iron making in a bloomery furnace, and scrimshaw. The three family workshops (Nontron knife assembly, leather sheath making, aperitif board creation) were a great success with families. World champion thrower Pascal Boucreux and martial arts champion Mickaël Auger provided the knife, axe, and shuriken throwing shows.
