Edition 2025 — Fête du Hareng de Fécamp
The Fête du Hareng et de la Coquille Saint-Jacques de Fécamp 2025 was held on November 29 and 30 on the Sadi Carnot, Jean Recher, and Grand Quai quays. Herring and Scallop Festival 2025
On November 29 and 30, 2025, the quays of Fécamp vibrated to the rhythm of the Herring and Scallop Festival. From Monday, November 24, La Boucane of the association Le Dundee Indépendant opened its doors at 77 rue des Prés for traditional herring smoking demonstrations.
On Saturday, the official inauguration at 11 a.m. on the Sadi Carnot quay kicked off the festivities, with the brass band Northmen Brass at noon. The filleuses demonstrated their skills from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., before the election of the Herring Queen 2025 at 4 p.m. On Sunday, the traditional Queen's weighing ceremony, the "déhalage en chansons", and the concert by Bagad Avel Vor punctuated the day.
The Family Village on the Jean Recher quay offered creative workshops, face painting, and a carousel for children, while the Musée des Pêcheries opened its doors for guided tours and documentary screenings.
