Fêtes de la Madeleine 2026

The Fêtes de la Madeleine 2026 will take place from Wednesday, July 22 to Sunday, July 26 in Mont-de-Marsan. The city of Mont-de-Marsan lives to the rhythm of its great féria, under the blue and white colors of the city's coat of arms, for five days and five nights. The official opening takes place at noon in front of the town hall, with the traditional handing over of the keys to the public.

A leading bullfighting féria

At the Plumaçon bullring, the 2026 season brings together five corridas and two novilladas. The féria opens on July 22 with a corrida of Jandilla bulls for Borja Jiménez, Andrés Roca Rey, and Marco Pérez. On July 25, Daniel Luque will face six bulls from six different ranches solo (encerrona). The closing, on July 26, features Victorino Martín bulls for Morenito de Aranda, Román, and Juan de Castilla.

The celebration throughout the city

Beyond the bullring, the Fêtes de la Madeleine offer bandas, free concerts, bodegas, colorful cavalcades, children's entertainment, Landes races, and a fireworks display. It is one of the largest ferias in the Southwest, attracting several hundred thousand revelers each year.
