Edition 2025 — Fêtes de Nérac

The 2025 edition of the Fêtes de Nérac took place from May 1st to 5th with a rich program: tripettes at Place Saint-Marc, flower parade, bandas and batucadas, Landes bullfights at the Foirail, funfair, association bodegas, and fireworks on Monday evening.

2025 Edition — Fêtes de Nérac from May 1st to 5th

The Fêtes de Nérac 2025 took place from Thursday, May 1st to Monday, May 5th, bringing together thousands of festival-goers in the streets of the Albret city. The festivities opened on Thursday, May 1st with the setup of the association bodegas at Place du Prieuré, Château esplanade, and Place Gisèle Halimi.

Saturday Highlights

Saturday began at 8 AM with the traditional tripettes breakfast at Place Saint-Marc, followed by the festive market on Rue du 8 Mai 1945, the fishing competition at Bourdillot, and the bread, wine, and strawberry competitions. The Municipal Band gave a concert at 11 AM. In the afternoon, children could try Landes bullfighting from 2:30 PM at the Foirail, followed by a competitive bullfight at 4:30 PM. In the evening, the flower parade wound through the streets to the sound of bandas.

Sunday and Monday

On Sunday afternoon, the flower parade resumed its route in reverse, followed by a formal Landes bullfight at 5 PM at the Foirail. Monday featured a cocarde competition in the morning and arena games in the afternoon, before the Municipal Band concert and the final fireworks display at 10:15 PM.
