Fête de la Musique 2025 in Montauban: the city celebrates

On June 21st, 2025, Montauban celebrated the Fête de la Musique with a rich and diverse program spread throughout the historic center of the city. Dozens of free concerts animated Place Nationale, the medieval streets, the banks of the Tarn, and the gardens of the Tarn-et-Garonne prefecture throughout the day and into the early hours of the night.

The musical diversity of the 2025 edition reflected the richness of the local and regional scene: acoustic jazz ensembles, rock and pop bands, classical music groups, French and Occitan chanson artists, reggae and world music formations performed on the numerous improvised and official stages of the city center. In the evening, the electric atmosphere of amplified concerts and electro sets livened up the main squares until nightfall.

As every year, the Montauban Fête de la Musique confirmed its role as a popular and inclusive event, bringing together residents from all neighborhoods, all ages, and all backgrounds in a collective and free celebration.
