The big summer festival of Neuilly-sur-Marne on the banks of the Marne
The Fête de Neuilly-sur-Marne is the town's annual festive event, celebrated every summer around July 14th. Open-air concerts, a fireworks display from the banks of the Marne, family entertainment, and a popular ball bring together thousands of residents in a friendly atmosphere. The town also benefits from the "Neuilly l'Été" summer program to extend the festivities throughout the holidays.
Each year, the town of Neuilly-sur-Marne (93330) celebrates summer with a generous festive program, centered around the French National Day on July 14th and the Neuilly l'Été summer program. A town of nearly 35,000 inhabitants on the banks of the Marne, Neuilly-sur-Marne offers a green and riverside setting particularly conducive to large outdoor gatherings.
The July 14th festivities are the highlight of the annual celebration. The town offers an open-air concert followed by a fireworks display in the evening, attracting thousands of locals and visitors from neighboring towns. The popular ball accompanying the torchlight procession testifies to the town's attachment to its republican traditions.
The commemorative ceremony in the morning brings together elected officials, veterans, and associations around the war memorial, in respect of civic tradition. It is followed by a republican toast open to all.
From July 14th to August 10th, the town rolls out its Neuilly l'Été program, transforming public spaces into scenes of celebration and leisure. Place Stalingrad and the Neuilly Village district host free entertainment throughout the summer: inflatable games, creative workshops, carousels, pony rides, face painting for children, and concerts or dance evenings for adults.
Highlights include a quiz and blind test evening with prizes, an outdoor cinema screening, the "Nuit Étoilée des commerçants" (Merchants' Starry Night) animating the Neuilly Village district, and a sparkling closing evening with a DJ set. Water play areas and inflatable structures remain accessible during the day, seven days a week.
Neuilly-sur-Marne benefits from a remarkable natural environment with five kilometers of Marne riverbanks, vast green spaces, and a festive tradition dating back to the 19th-century guinguettes. Each summer, the town hosts a Big Jump into the Marne, a national collective diving event aimed at promoting the water quality of European rivers, which took place on July 13th, 2025, at the Haute-Île water body.
This summer festive tradition reflects the warm and popular identity of Neuilly-sur-Marne, a town committed to the quality of life of its residents and the animation of its territory in all seasons.
