The Fête Nationale d'Auxerre 2025 took place on July 13th and 14th. On Sunday, July 13th, festivities began at 7 PM in Place Saint-Georges with a circus show at 9:15 PM, a torchlight procession at 10:30 PM, and the grand fireworks display launched from the Quai de la République at 11 PM. The firefighters' ball concluded the evening. On July 14th, official ceremonies and sports activities, including a pétanque competition starting at 1:30 PM.
Fête Nationale d'Auxerre 2025 — July 13th and 14th
On July 13th and 14th, 2025, the city of Auxerre (89000) celebrated the National Holiday with a rich and varied program, bringing together thousands of residents and visitors on the banks of the Yonne.
Evening of July 13th
The festivities began at 7:00 PM in Place Saint-Georges, with on-site catering and a festive atmosphere. At 9:15 PM, a circus show captivated the audience. At 10:30 PM, the torchlight procession traversed the streets of Auxerre in a luminous procession. Then, at 11:00 PM, the grand fireworks display launched from the Quai de la République illuminated the Auxerre sky, reflecting beautifully in the waters of the Yonne and painting the sky with colors above the silhouette of the Cathédrale Saint-Étienne. The firefighters' ball then extended the celebration until the early hours of the morning.
July 14th Ceremonies
On the morning of July 14th, official ceremonies brought together elected officials and representatives of veterans for a parade and a military review. In the afternoon, a pétanque competition organized by the neighborhood committee began at 1:30 PM.
