National Day 2025 in Dourdan on July 13 and 14. Ceremony in the castle courtyard with the Musical Society, parade to Parc Lejars-Rouillon, DJs from 6:30 PM, torch distribution at 9:15 PM, torchlight procession at 10 PM, fireworks at 11 PM. Official ceremony on July 14 at 11 AM in the presence of the prefect of Essonne.

National Day 2025 in Dourdan
On July 13 and 14, 2025, Dourdan celebrated the National Day with its traditional program combining solemnity and popular festivity. The courtyard of the medieval castle echoed with the notes of the Musical Society from the morning of July 13.
In the evening, DJs animated the esplanade before the torchlight procession at 10 PM through the streets of the historic center. The fireworks at 11 PM, launched from the parvis of the town hall, offered a colorful spectacle against the backdrop of medieval towers. The next day, the official ceremony of July 14 brought together elected officials, former combatants, and residents to commemorate the storming of the Bastille.
