Patronal Festival 2025 - August 14th to 17th
The Fêtes de Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port 2025 took place from August 14th to 17th, offering four days of festivities rooted in Basque traditions. The program included singing aperitifs, outdoor meals in the covered market enlivened by the group Adartza, mutxikoak in the late afternoon, concerts featuring notably the groups Hazas and Los Piquillos, and night dances with the group Ibiliz.
The Basque pelota with grand chistera matches, including the Tournoi de l'Étoile d'Or, and the Basque strength demonstrations punctuated these festive days. The fireworks display launched from the citadel concluded the festivities in a luminous spectacle above the medieval town.
