2025 Edition — The Middle Ages Honored
The Medieval Festival of the Grand Fauconnier 2025 took place from July 11 to 13 in the city of Cordes-sur-Ciel. The opening, starting Friday evening, was marked by the grand animated medieval banquet offered by Le Tranchoir, with a medieval-inspired menu at the price of 35 euros excluding drinks.
On Saturday and Sunday, the streets of the fortified town vibrated to the rhythm of strolls and permanent activities. Among the highlights, the Claymor Clan, a Scottish Pipe Band, transported Cordes into the Celtic mists with its lively music played on the great Scottish bagpipes. Medieval artisans, the Compagnons du Gras Jambon, and numerous reenactment troupes completed a rich and varied program.
