Edition 2025 — Gastronomique d'Avallon
2025 edition of the Week-end Gastronomique d'Avallon, on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October. Gourmet market of local producers on Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, tastings of Auxerrois wines, Morvan cheeses, cured ham, culinary workshops around Burgundy recipes, and activities for the whole family in the heart of the medieval town.
Week-end Gastronomique d'Avallon - 2025 Edition
On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October 2025, Avallon hosted its Gastronomic Weekend on the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville and in the pedestrian streets of its medieval center. Producers, winemakers, cheesemakers, charcutiers, and taste artisans from the Avallonnais and Morvan regions animated an exceptional gourmet market, offering visitors a complete immersion into the seasonal flavors of Burgundy.
The gourmet market brought together about forty exhibitors representing the best of local production: Morvan cured ham and rosette, aged Époisses and Soumaintrain, Irancy and Vézelay wines, craft beers, Morvan honey and gingerbread, seasonal vegetables, and regional preserves. The culinary workshops led by Avallon chefs allowed visitors to learn how to make Burgundy gougères, œufs en meurette, and jambon persillé. Guided tastings of wines and cheeses completed this program rich in sensory discoveries.
