Foire aux Cerises 2025 in Escolives-Sainte-Camille
On Sunday, June 29, 2025, Escolives-Sainte-Camille hosted the 41st edition of its Foire aux Cerises in the green setting of the park of the Gallo-Roman archaeological site, Rue Raymond Kapps. From dawn, starting at 6:00 AM, exhibitors filled the park's pathways to offer antiques, old objects, clothing, and various curiosities, creating the usual treasure hunt atmosphere that characterizes this annual garage sale. The event brought together between 100 and 200 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, until closing at 6:00 PM.
As every year, the Comité des fêtes d'Escolives-Sainte-Camille provided on-site catering and drinks: steaming grilled boudin and cold drinks enlivened the day, in a convivial atmosphere typical of Burgundian village festivals. The cherry, the emblematic fruit of the commune, was the highlight of this summer edition, which has been perpetuating the link between Escolives' fruity past and its contemporary community life for over four decades.
