2024 Edition: The Tradition of November 11th
The 2024 edition of the Foire aux Oignons was held on Monday, November 11th, a day of remembrance and the unchanging date of this centuries-old event. As every year, around 500 street vendors took over the streets of downtown Givet, offering onions, local products, textiles, flea market items, and various goods.
Tens of thousands of visitors from the Ardennes, the North, the Meuse, Lorraine, and Belgium walked the aisles of this immense open-air fair. The stalls selling onion soup, fries, and mulled wine warmed visitors on this autumn day. The Foire aux Oignons once again confirmed its status as the largest popular event in the tip of the Ardennes.
