2025 Edition: Nearly Five Centuries of Tradition
The 2025 edition of the Foire aux Oignons took place on Tuesday, November 11th, in the streets of downtown Givet. True to a tradition dating back to 1530, this centuries-old event brought together around 500 street vendors and tens of thousands of visitors in a festive popular atmosphere.
Braids of onions once again adorned the stalls, alongside local products, textiles, and flea market items. Givet's border location attracted many Belgian and Luxembourgish visitors, confirming the cross-border nature of this unique fair in the Ardennes.
