Foire de Mars de Sainpuits 2025
On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Sainpuits continued its nearly bicentennial tradition with its Foire de Mars. Faithful to its original spirit since the royal ordinance of 1843, the fair brought together producers of Puisaye wines, local artisans, and equestrian breeders from 9 a.m. in the village.
The horse competition at 10 a.m. gathered breeders from all over Puisaye-Forterre to present their animals to an attentive and passionate audience. In the afternoon, the traditional meal, served by reservation, concluded this day of celebration in the purest Burgundian rural tradition. A warm and well-attended edition, demonstrating the vitality of this popular event in the Yonne.
