Edition 2025 — Folkiri
The 2025 Folkiri Festival took place on October 3rd and 4th at the Saulnières hall in Le Mans. Two evenings of folk ball with Thréo, duos Blain/Leyzour and Lopez/Capel on Friday, then the trio Bonnin/Campino/Laplanche, duo Rue Pascale and Ciac Boum on Saturday. Two dance and accordion workshops completed the program.
Folkiri 2025 — Two Evenings of Folk Ball in Le Mans
The Folkiri Festival took over the Saulnières hall on October 3rd and 4th, 2025, for an edition rich in traditional dances and music.
Friday, October 3rd — Folk Ball
Thréo opened the festivities with their energetic repertoire, followed by the Duo Blain/Leyzour and the Duo Lopez/Capel. The audience danced bourrées, scottishs, and mazurkas in an electric atmosphere.
Saturday, October 4th — Folk Ball and Workshops
The afternoon began with a Poitou dance workshop led by Christian Pacher and a diatonic accordion workshop directed by Thierry Pinson. In the evening, the Trio Bonnin/Campino/Laplanche, the Duo Rue Pascale, and the band Ciac Boum closed the festival in an explosion of traditional music.
