About Fototras
Every year, Fototras brings together photographers from Guadeloupe and the Caribbean for a series of exhibitions, lectures, and workshops. Organized by the associations Diaspo'Art Guadeloupe and Fotolib, the festival fosters a dialogue between artists with diverse creative approaches and the public across various towns on the island.
Launched in 2024, the festival takes place every autumn in cultural venues such as the MUSARTH departmental museum in Pointe-à-Pitre, the L'Art s'en mêle gallery in Le Gosier, and the Espace Culturel de la Lézarde in Petit-Bourg. The program features group exhibitions, portfolio reviews, school workshops, and weekly lecture series.
