Second edition of Gailloween at the Château de Gaillon. In 1632, terror reigned in Gaillon: a mysterious beast caused strange disappearances near the castle. Investigations, tales, alchemist workshops, and a graffiti wall. 2,800 visitors over 15 days.
The Beast of Gaillon Terrorizes the Castle
The second edition of Gailloween took place from October 21st to November 5th, 2023, plunging visitors into the year 1632. A mysterious beast roamed the castle grounds, causing strange disappearances that terrorized the population of Gaillon.
The program included an investigation-treasure hunt following the beast's tracks (for ages 7+, kit for 5 euros), an alchemist workshop where visitors tried to create a magic potion to save Gaillon, scary tales to listen to in the warmth of parental arms, and a Gailloween wall for free graffiti (free, no reservation required).
The edition attracted 2,800 visitors over fifteen days of activities, confirming the success of this heritage Halloween event.
