25th Edition — A Quarter Century of Terraces and Live Music

In 2025, "Garçon, la Note !" celebrated a symbolic anniversary: 25 years of free concerts on the terraces of Auxerre and the Auxerrois region. Since the first edition in 2001, the festival has offered its loyal audience over 1,077 concerts, so many memorable evenings that have gradually made this summer event one of Burgundy's most emblematic.

The jubilee edition, themed "meeting between newness and memories", featured a particularly curated program, described by organizers as "rich and festive, open, eclectic, and generous." Programmer Sophie Torcol, a festival regular for over fifteen years, designed a program carefully blending iconic artists who have marked the festival's history with promising new talents.

Program and Atmosphere

As every year, concerts took place from Monday to Saturday from 9 PM to 11 PM, from July 1st to August 31st, in the bars, cafes, and restaurants of Auxerre, the Auxerrois, the Chablisien, and the Aillantais regions. Nearly 50 evenings punctuated the summer, allowing several thousand residents and visitors to enjoy a free musical moment in a friendly atmosphere.

Among the notable artists this edition were Dolores Crocos (brass, percussion, ukulele, and accordion), the group ZZZ (atmospheric rock with dystopian sounds), and Célia April (intimate and dynamic universe), showcasing the diversity of the programming.

An Anniversary Celebrated Throughout the Territory

To celebrate this symbolic milestone, organizers hosted several special evenings in emblematic locations in the city of Auxerre, reinforcing the festival's popular and emotional roots. The 2025 edition confirmed that the "one evening, one terrace, one concert" formula remains as fresh and desired as on day one, and that "people will always want to gather to listen to live music in the streets of their neighborhood."
