Grand Pardon 2024 — Pentecost
The Grand Pardon de Saint-Yves 2024 took place on Sunday, May 19, 2024, coinciding this year with the feast of Pentecost. The pontifical high mass was presided over by Mgr Jean Bondu, auxiliary bishop of Rennes, at 10:00 AM in Saint-Tugdual Cathedral. The procession of the head of Saint Yves then paraded through the streets of Tréguier to the church of Minihy-Tréguier, accompanied by banners and oriflammes. The parish of Saint-Tugdual hosted the Silver Virgin of Quintin for the occasion, which was present in the basilica. A novena of prayer had preceded the pardon, from Ascension Thursday (May 9) to Pentecost Sunday (May 19).
