Hibernarock — Contemporary Music Festival of Cantal

18th Edition: Hibernarock Confirms Its Reach

For its 18th edition, Hibernarock took over 12 communes in Cantal from February 2 to March 9, 2024, offering 14 concerts with 30 groups and nearly 100 artists. The program mixed renowned artists and discoveries in a musical journey across the entire department.

The festival opening was entrusted to Orange Blossom at Le Sismographe in Aurillac on February 2, followed by a series of concerts in all corners of Cantal. Voyou took over the Théâtre d'Aurillac, Samba de la Muerte electrified the department's venues, and Hervé delivered a memorable concert in early March. The grand finale was provided by Fatoumata Diawara, an internationally renowned Malian artist, on March 9.

The festival also featured its traditional blind test in Murat as an opening event, a record fair, photographic exhibitions, and concerts in schools, confirming its popular and accessible vocation.
