Edition 2025 — Hip Opsession
The 20th and final edition of HIP OPsession took place from April 7 to May 18, 2025, in Nantes. To celebrate its twentieth anniversary, the festival brought together all its disciplines—dance, music, and visual arts—in a grand anniversary edition. Over 50 events in nearly 40 venues across the Nantes metropolitan area attracted around 22,000 spectators.

20th Edition — The Anniversary Edition (2005-2025)
To celebrate its twenty years, HIP OPsession offered an exceptional edition bringing together all its disciplines in a single event, from April 7 to May 18, 2025. With over 50 events scheduled in nearly 40 venues in the Nantes agglomeration, France's most emblematic hip-hop festival pulled out all the stops for this final edition.
Opsession Camp
A major innovation for this anniversary edition, the Opsession Camp, a hip-hop colony for young people aged 11 to 15, took place from April 7 to 11, 2025. This immersive camp, combining dance, beatbox, and graffiti, allowed young people to discover the various facets of hip-hop culture.
Birthday Party
On Thursday, May 8, 2025, HIP OPsession invited the public to its Birthday Party, a free, family-friendly block party open to all under the Nefs of Nantes. Dance, beatbox, and graffiti workshops, a hip-hop village, and rap battles marked this festive day.
Battle Opsession — The Final Edition
An emblematic highlight of the festival, the Battle Opsession took place on May 16 and 17, 2025, at Le Lieu Unique in Nantes. This special edition hosted the world's best dancers in several categories: popping, locking, house, hip-hop, and breaking. The upright dance qualifiers took place on Saturday, May 10, at Halle 6, and the break finals were broadcast live.
