Hors Limites

2025 Edition — March-April

The 2025 edition of Hors Limites brought together around one hundred authors and artists from March 21 to April 5 for 92 entirely free events in 31 towns in Seine-Saint-Denis and Paris. Spread across 45 departmental media libraries and 22 partner venues (theaters, cultural centers, public spaces), these events reached tens of thousands of people.

Diversity of Forms and Audiences

The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's vitality by offering a wide diversity of formats: musical readings blending literature and jazz, slam and rap performances in libraries, writing workshops for all ages, meetings with authors from the French and international contemporary scene, documentary screenings on literary creation, literary walks in the towns of the 93 department, and several outings of the Bibliotourbus.

The festival gave a special place to authors in residence in the department, allowing the general public to discover literary projects born from the writers' residency program in Seine-Saint-Denis.
