Edition 2025 — Ingénieuse Afrique
The 29th edition of the Ingénieuse Afrique Festival was held from August 1 to 3, 2025, in Foix. Three days to vibrate with the colors of the African continent with concerts, musical parades led by Djekoulou and sabar percussion by Baye Cheikh, storytellers, an artisan market, and African food.

29th Edition – Ingénieuse Afrique 2025
The 29th edition of the festival took place from August 1 to 3, 2025. The musical parades by Djekoulou and the sabar percussion by Baye Cheikh enlivened the streets, market, and gardens of Foix. The storytellers Bintou Sombié and the company Paroles de Calebasse transported visitors into African oral traditions.
The festival attracted nearly 15,000 participants, confirming its status as a major cultural event of the Ariège summer.
