4th Edition: Jazz Within Everyone's Reach
On June 27, 28, and 29, 2025, Jazz à Garches hosted its fourth edition with an ambitious, entirely free program in the town center. Friday evening featured the poetic duo Airelle Besson & Lionel Suarez, an unprecedented meeting of a trumpeter with brass sounds and an accordionist with gypsy roots. Franco-Taiwanese singer Estelle Perrault enchanted the Saturday audience with jazz tinged with oriental influences. Roman Reidid & Paper Chase explored contemporary jazz, while Photons fused electronic music and jazz. On Sunday, Blue Jitters — seven musicians for authentic swing from the 1930s to 1950s — closed the festival in a festive atmosphere. Jazz discovery workshops were offered at the Conservatory on June 14 and 28, and a New Orleans brass band paraded through the streets on June 14.
