33rd Jean de La Fontaine Festival – Les Printanières 2024
The 33rd edition of the Jean de La Fontaine Festival presented its program from May 11 to June 14, 2024, in the heritage sites of Château-Thierry and southern Aisne. True to its multidisciplinary mission, the festival combined baroque and vocal music, theatre, and literary conferences.
The opening took place on Saturday, May 11, with the performance "Le Chant d'Orphée" at Champagne Pannier in Château-Thierry. The program included a musical conference "The Formidable History of Birds in Music" on May 17 and 18, as well as the creation "Destination London" on June 6 at the Palais des Rencontres.
The 9th Psyche Encounters, the annual symposium of the Society of Friends of Jean de La Fontaine, was held on June 1 at the Hôtel-Dieu Chapel.
