Heritage Days 2025 in Yonne – Architectural Heritage
Under the theme of architectural heritage, the 2025 Heritage Days allowed the inhabitants of Yonne and visitors to discover or rediscover the architectural riches of the department. From September 20 to 21, 2025, castles, abbeys, cathedrals, archives, and notable houses opened their doors for free.
The Departmental Archives of Yonne offered a notable program: Lego and architectural heritage workshop for families, free tours of the Prison Tower, and an exhibition dedicated to the Icaunais architectural heritage. Many rural communes also participated, notably Romanesque churches in Puisaye and Tonnerrois usually closed to the public.
