Edition 2025 — La Baule Festival

The 11th edition of the La Baule Festival of Film Music was held from June 25 to 29, 2025. The jury, chaired by Zabou Breitman, awarded the Grand Prix for Best Film to Fils de by Carlos Abascal Peiro. Lambert Wilson offered a tribute concert to Yves Montand, and Gérard Jugnot received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

11th Edition — Cinema, Music, and Stars on the Atlantic Coast

The 11th edition of the La Baule Festival of Film Music took place from June 25 to 29, 2025, at the Palais des Congrès Atlantia and partner venues in the seaside resort. The jury, chaired by actress and director Zabou Breitman, included composer and singer Aurélie Saada, trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf, and actresses Mélanie Bernier and Caroline Anglade.

Awards

The Grand Prix for Best Film was awarded to Fils de by Carlos Abascal Peiro, praised for its direction and the original score by Frédéric Alvarez. The Award for Best Film Score was jointly given to Frédéric Alvarez for Fils de and to Alexandre Desplat for Les Aigles de la République. Camille and Clément Ducol received the Award for Best Film Score of the Year for Emilia Perez. The Award for Best Short Film went to Le Photographe by Christèle Billaut. The Award for Best Musical Documentary honored Madness, Princes du Ska, Rois de la Pop by Christophe Conte. Dorian Boutillet received the Young Composer Revelation Award from the Conservatoire Paul Dukas.

Lambert Wilson Concert and Tribute to Gérard Jugnot

Lambert Wilson gave a special concert paying tribute to Yves Montand through the great songs of cinema. Gérard Jugnot received the Lifetime Achievement Award celebrating his entire career.
