The 48th edition of the La Défense Jazz Festival brought together thousands of spectators on the parvis de La Défense from June 23 to 29, 2025. The program for this edition celebrated the diversity of contemporary jazz with artists representing all the major musical families stemming from jazz.
Guest Artists
The 48th edition hosted Herbie Hancock, a legendary pioneer of fusion and electric jazz, who delivered one of the most anticipated concerts in the festival's recent history. Angelique Kidjo, a majestic voice and committed figure of African world music, also electrified the parvis with her communicative energy. Many other artists completed the program over ten days of free concerts.
National Jazz Competition
The selection and final of the 2025 La Défense National Jazz Competition resulted in the victory of the ensemble AMG, recognized for the quality and originality of its musical project.
