Edition 2025 — Démontagnée Gourmande
The 2025 edition of La Démontagnée Gourmande brought together over 4,000 people in the streets of Bourg-Saint-Maurice to celebrate the descent from the alpine pastures. The parade of Tarine and Abondance cows, accompanied by goats, sheep, and horses, crossed the town center to the cheers of the public, escorted by the Alpine Horns and the local Harmonie. The producers' village showcased the best local products of Tarentaise. The fodder competition rewarded the best hay in the valley.

La Démontagnée Gourmande 2025
The 2025 edition of La Démontagnée Gourmande was held on Saturday, October 18th in the streets of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. More than 4,000 visitors participated in this day celebrating the pastoral tradition of Haute-Tarentaise.
The grand herd parade was the highlight of the day, with dozens of Tarine and Abondance breed cows, adorned with their bells and cowbells, parading through the town center accompanied by goats, sheep, and horses. The farmers, in traditional attire, led their animals to the cheers of the public, escorted by the Alpine Horns, the Harmonie, and the Chapladiots.
The gourmet village brought together numerous local producers offering alpine cheeses, cured meats, honeys, and Savoyard specialties. The fodder competition rewarded the best hay in the valley. The day concluded with the traditional Démontagnée Ball organized by young farmers.
