The 2025 edition of La Folle Journée, themed "Flagship Cities", invited the public on a fascinating journey through the metropolises that shaped the history of classical music.
A Musical World Tour
From baroque Venice to modern New York, romantic Vienna, scholarly Leipzig, bohemian Prague, and majestic Saint Petersburg, each concert offered an immersion into the musical soul of these emblematic places. Spectators could compose their own itinerary, moving from one capital to another in a matter of minutes.
New Features of the 2025 Edition
A major innovation of this 31st edition: La Folle Journée expanded beyond the Cité des Congrès to encompass about ten municipalities in the Nantes metropolitan area as well as neighborhoods of Nantes, with concerts held in cultural and heritage sites.
With over 100 concerts of 45 minutes and prices ranging from free to €39, this edition confirmed La Folle Journée's mission: to make classical music accessible to all audiences.
