575th Foire aux Oignons - Médiévale de Mantes 2025

On Saturday, November 22, 2025, the center of Mantes-la-Jolie hosted the 575th edition of the Foire aux Oignons and the Médiévale de Mantes, from 10 AM to 10 PM.

Rue Porte des Comptes and Rue Nationale transformed into a vast animated medieval market with street shows, musicians, knight combats, and demonstrations of traditional crafts (woodturning, weaving, glassblowing, calligraphy, candle making). A medieval village was set up on Place Saint-Maclou with a traditional educational farm and medieval games for children.

The Tâte-Oignon ceremony, followed by the free distribution of onion soup, was the emblematic moment of the day. In the evening, fire shows and theater performances extended the medieval atmosphere until 10 PM.

2025 Program
