Edition 2024 — La Transjurassienne
2024 edition of La Transjurassienne canceled due to lack of snow. Climate change once again deprives skiers of their mythical rendezvous in the Jura Mountains.
2024 Edition: Canceled Due to Lack of Snow
The 2024 edition of La Transjurassienne, initially scheduled for February 10 and 11, had to be canceled due to lack of snow on the Jura course. Despite the organizers' efforts to adapt the route, insufficient snow conditions did not guarantee participant safety. This cancellation, echoing other cancellations in recent years, illustrates the growing challenges posed by climate change to cross-country ski races in mid-mountain areas.
