49th edition: living tradition

From July 11 to 14, 2025, the park of Château d'Ars hosted the 49th edition of Le Son Continu. True to its mission, the festival once again brought together luthiers, musicians, and dancers from all over Europe for four days of celebration dedicated to traditional music and dances.

The International Luthier Exhibition featured around 150 exhibitors, from bagpipe makers to hurdy-gurdy luthiers, as well as diatonic accordions and world instruments. Visitors could discover, try, and purchase exceptional instruments.

The evenings were filled with concerts followed by the traditional dances that lasted until dawn. The days were marked by dance workshops, conferences, and discovery stages in the castle courtyard.
