9th edition: Le Temps des Guitares settles in Luzech
The 9th edition of the International Festival Le Temps des Guitares marked a historic turning point: after eight years at the open-air theatre of Puy-l'Évêque, the festival has set up its home in the Notre-Dame de l'Île chapel in Luzech, offering an exceptional acoustic and heritage setting for the concerts.
Four thematic evenings marked this edition:
- "Antipodes" Evening (Monday, July 28): Natalia Lipnitskaya, winner of numerous international competitions, and Judicaël Perroy, a talented guitarist and instrumentalist, solo and duo for a journey between Eastern and Western classical traditions.
- "Mandolin" Evening (Tuesday, July 29): The Duo Korsak-Collet offered a unique encounter between the mandolin, domra, and classical guitar.
- "Astrolabi" Evening (Wednesday, July 30): Paolo Besson, winner of the International Competition of Paris, on classical guitar, accompanied by the Gironès father and son duo for a program mixing theorbo, harpsichord, and baroque cello.
- "Flamenca" Evening (Thursday, July 31): Karine Gonzalez set the stage ablaze with a flamenco dance, guitar, and singing show.
The afternoons featured activities around the guitar at the Maison des Consuls, open to all ages, as well as wine tastings from the Cahors vineyards.

Wednesday, July 30 – "Astrolabi" Evening
- 6:30 PM: Concert – Paolo Besson (classical guitar, winner of the International Competition of Paris) and Duo Gironès father and son (theorbo, harpsichord, baroque cello)
Thursday, July 31 – "Flamenca" Evening
- 6:30 PM: Concert – Karine Gonzalez (flamenco dance, guitar, and singing)
